Unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing, we do not provide architecture, engineering, structural advice, building code compliance assessments, electrical or plumbing design, or safety certification. If your project involves structural modifications, you should consult licensed professionals in your jurisdiction.

3. Description of the Site and Services

The Site includes educational articles, inspiration guidance, service descriptions, and a contact form. We may offer consultations and deliverables such as layout notes, room planning guidance, material and color direction, lighting suggestions, and styling recommendations.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site, services, or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) CAD $100.

13. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms, the Site, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, unless applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.

14. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to contact us and provide a brief written description of the dispute and the relief you seek. We will attempt to resolve disputes informally within 30 days of receiving notice.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer laws.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or that your use creates risk to the Site, other users, or our operations.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law.
